The Chinese Tech giant, Xiaomi has just launched a brand new product in the market. This time, rather than launching a new smartphone, laptop, or any other mainstream product, The company has shifted gears completely. As per the latest information available, Xiaomi has just released a brand new portable fan that also works as a humidifier. The company named this product the DOCO Ultrasonic Dry Misting fan. Exploring the look of the product, it’s designed almost like any other regular hand fan within the market. As with most new Xiaomi products, the company has limited the launch of the portable fan to China. Let’s look into everything that we know about this new Xiaomi portable fan.

As stated in a report from Gizmochina, the company has already shared the pricing and availability details regarding the portable fan. The company has priced this portable fan at just 69 RMB (around Rs. 739). Interested buyers can head to the Chinese retail website Youpin to get their hands on this portable fan. The DOCO Ultrasonic Dry Misting fan features a brushless motor that runs on DC power. Xiaomi says that the brush-less motor ensures that the fan creates under anticipated noise together with low-power consumption. Beyond this, the company also claims that the fan motor doesn’t heat “even with prolonged” use.

We also see claims regarding the lifespan of the motors. The company claims that the motor in the portable fan will last about 50 percent longer than the competition. Talking about the features, the portable fan will provide three different “wind” speeds together with two levels of “misting speed”.

Digging a little deeper, the primary jam is that the motor will offer 3,200rpm and the second offers 4,100rpm. The third pushes things to 5,100rpm. Observing the misting feature, the company claims that this could decrease the temperature by 3-degree Celsius. The Xiaomi fan features a compartment for water and uses a centrifugal misting system. It comes with a 2000mAh lithium battery with 12-hour use in the first jam, 9 hours in the second jam, and 3.4 hours in the third jam. The fan is about 155grams and comes with a vertical stand. Xiaomi providing three different color options for the fan including White, Pink, and Green.

Xiaomi 120W charger may launch soon

As per GizmoChina, the corporate requires the 120W charger for its 100W Super Charge Turbo fast charging solution. Considering the certification for the charger, it’s also likely that Xiaomi is preparing its first 100W charging smartphone. This information comes just days after a leaker indicated that the smartphone maker is functioning on 100W charging support. Taking a more in-depth look at the details regarding the certification, the 120W charger comes with the “MDY-12-ED” model number. The unreleased product received the regulatory approval on Jun 28. Xiaomi has not shared any information regarding the official launch of the upcoming smartphone and the charger.

The report also noted that the 120W charger has already leaked in a video one or two weeks back. As per the video, the charger features a cuboid shape alongside a USB Type-A port. The charger also comes with charging pings on the other end of the USB port. This video also shared some details round the different charging speeds, power outputs that the 120W charger will support.

The different power outputs include 5V at 3A current for 15W charging speed, 9V at 3A, and 11V at 6A. We also get 20W at 4.8A and 20V at 6A current. The power outputs indicate that this product can charge multiple devices including laptops, and tablets alongside the standard smartphone. We aren’t sure if the corporate will include the 120W charger alongside the 100W smartphone. It is also likely that the smartphone user can purchase the 120W charger as a separate purchase like Apple.

Snap Inc. recently launched two smart spectacles in India, known as the Snap Spectacles 2 and the Snap Spectacles 3. Snap is the company behind popular instant messaging/social media app Snapchat. Each new Snap Spectacles models are available on the brand’s India website. The Snap Spectacles 2 is being offered at Rs 14,999, while the Snap Spectacles 3 is being provided for Rs 29,999.

Each the Snap Spectacles 2 and Snap Spectacles 3 are made available through Flipkart. The e-commerce website listing is further up with the price and availability date of June 4. These smart glasses by Snap Inc (previously referred to as Snapchat) were first launched in 2018 and 2019, respectively. The primary glasses were launched in November 2017 through limited availability and went on sale online in February 2017. “Spectacles are differently to experience Snap’s incredible AR capabilities, but also how to capture a distinct point of view on the globe – your own. Users can easily sync the captured content with the iOS or Android Snapchat app. They are available with 4GB storage allowing one to record up to 100 videos or up to 1,200 photos. Users can recharge the battery of those glasses with a USB Type-C cable in 75 minutes.

The Snap Spectacles 2 is in a position to take 1642×1642 resolution pictures. It also can record 60fps videos at a resolution of 1216×1216 pixels. The device comes with 4GB onboard storage. Chinese technology company OnePlus has just entered the budget TV market in India with the launch of the latest OnePlus TV Y Series. The corporate has introduced three models in India today which include two Y series models and one U series model. With this new product lineup, OnePlus will challenge Xiaomi within the affordable smart TV market. It will also force incumbents like Samsung, Sony, and LG to provide cheaper models within the smart TV market.

OnePlus TV Y and U series: Price and availability

The OnePlus TV 2020 lineup prices start at Rs 12,999 for the OnePlus TV Y1 32-inch model. The opposite Y series 43-inch model is priced at Rs 22,999. While the OnePlus TV U1 22-inch model is priced at Rs 49,999. The pre-booking of the OnePlus TV was already live on Amazon India and offered two years of extended warranty. Though the price of the TVs has not revealed, the pre-booking had a price of Rs 1,000 after discount. The sale for these units begins on July 5 on Amazon India. These are going to be available offline on OnePlus, Reliance Digital, and other retail stores soon.

The new OnePlus TV U1 55-inch comes with 93 percent DCI-P3 color gamut and there’s Netflix app pre-loaded. It comes with Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision support also. Xiaomi has been the market leader for eight consecutive quarters and OnePlus wants to put an end to that streak.

The rear is made of a single aluminum carbon fiber alloy panel. It comes with Android TV alongside custom OnePlus apps like OnePlus connect. This may let users use their phones as a remote. You’ll be able to now connect up to 5 smartphones and now includes iPhones.

Oxygen Play is another app that will collate content from different services and show them there. The OnePlus TV U series gets a data Saver mode which can block background data. These features are coming to the OnePlus TV Q1 series with the latest update soon. Most of those features are present on the Y series TVs also including Dolby Audio, Android TV, Google Play, Chromecast, and OnePlus Apps.
